Leaving Nothing to the Imagination
Sheesh. 240 people on a FBC ride. You see what you started, Mr. Bussman?
The Summertime Underwear Pool Party of Destiny was far and away the most attended ride in the history of the FBC. It was also a total zoo. There were crashes, there were flats, there were flats that caused crashes and crashes that caused flats. There was Drew's grandma's swimming pool and cops and fountains and lakes. There was underwear. Lots and lots of underwear.

I'd Follow Jim Utz Anywhere
This Saturday I'm going to follow him to the Sky View Drive In movie theater in Belleville Illinois. We did this ride last year and highlights included, naked daylight swimming in a golf course pond, a BBQ in East St. Louis, and a metrolink party.
The ride to the theater is around 30 miles, so bring whatever you need to keep your bike running. After the movie we are going to catch the metro back to St. Louis. Also, if you have a battery powered AM/FM radio bring it so we can actually hear the movies this year.
Anyone is welcome to ride with us, just make sure you think you can make all the way to Belleville. Meet at Turtle Park Saturday June, 21st at 4:30. The ride leaves at 5pm sharp.

Flag Day!
I think the word is really starting to get around. The perfect way to celebrate Flag Day is to strap a flag to your bicycle, go for a ride with your friends and serenade people eating on outdoor patios with a rousing version of Your A Grad Old Flag. Watching a top spinning show is just the icing on the cake.
Don't for get to wash your underwear. The Summertime Underwear Pool Party of Destiny 2008 is on Wednesday, June 18th. We leave turtle Park at 11pm sharp. We are still looking for a pool too, be a hero, find us a place to swim.

Late Breaking News Flash
Oh my gosh!
Wednesday June 18th is Full Moon Fiasco 39: The Summertime Underwear Pool Party Of Destiny 2008! That means the FBC will be riding bikes in our underwear and (hopefully) swimming in a swimming pool. We leave Turtle Park at 11:00pm sharp.
If anyone has parents or uncles or friends who are so cool that they don't mind having 150 bike riders over for a pool party at midnight on Wednesday please let me know ASAP. I promise I will personally clean up every last beer can.
We usually do the underwear ride later in the summer, but this year we have big plans for the July ride, and the August ride is on the same night as the moonlight ramble. So the underwear comes out early. You've got to roll with the punches you know?
ALSO, Saturday June 14th is Flag Day. And As you know the FBC's official unofficial theme song is 'Your a Grand Old Flag' so Flag Day is definitely a holiday we observe. Get the old 48 star out of the crawl space and hook it to your bike or wear it as a cape and meet the FBC at Turtle Park at 6:30pm we will ride at 7:00.
Seriously, If anyone knows a pool we could have permission to go to on the 18th. please, please let us know.

Ride Your Bike Across a River. See Another State!
Saturday June 7th Trailnet is having a shindig to celebrate the official opening of the Mckinley Bridge bike path. Brian Saddlebags Depauli suggested that some FBC lifetime members for life might want to attend the historic occaision. If you're interested, meet Brian and I and whoever else Saturday morning at 11:00am at Turtle Park. We'll head downtown from there looking for adventure and whatever comes our way.
