Fast Times For The FBC

hey all you FBCers.
July is shaping up to be an exciting month for your Fucking Bike Club. First up on Saturday July 8th we are embarking on our longest ride to date and our first official overnight journey. The epic and much anticipated "Fucking Bike Club Slow Ride to Fast Eddies!"
For those of you who have never had the joy of patronizing Fast Eddie's fine establishment in beautiful, scenic Alton, Illinois, it is the home of some of the cheapest food, and coldest beer in whole wide world.
The plan goes as follows, we are going to meet at the Hi-Pointe at 11:00am Saturday morning (July 8th) and get on the road promptly by noon. we are not schedualing any food stops between the Hi-Pointe and Fast Eddies. So please nourish yourself before arriving at the Hi-Pointe or just give yourself time to purchase a bacon egg and cheese quesadilla at Del Taco before we take off.
The ride is approximately 40 miles and should take most of the afternoon at a leisurely pace. Since this is a longer ride than we have attempted before i would suggest making sure to bring water and whatever tools you may need to keep your bicycle in working order.
After arriving victoriously at Fast Eddies we plan to spend a long evening sampling the local fare and sipping on icey cold oat sodas. When too much fun has been had by all we will retire to near by Wood River Illinois where Scott's girlfriend has been gracious enough to let us have a campout in her backyard. Sounds pretty great huh?
The next morning when everone is up and hydrated we wil attempt the hungover ramble homeward and discuss the greatest moments from our journey.

Also We are still looking for a swimming pool destination for the Full Moon Fiasco 15 Pool Party Underwear/Swimwear Goodtimes Summer Insanity Ride on Tuesday July 11! If you can find us a pool that would welcome 50 or so drunk, half-naked cyclists at midnight on a Tuesday night i will gladly repay you by putting your smiling face on the Spoke Card.

I hope to see a big turnout for the Fast Eddies ride and please let me know if you have a lead on a swimming pool.

ok so, fiasco 14 was successful dispite some orginizational issues. Kris Mosbey and Andy Brockmen were supposed to organize this ride. Andy went out of town so Kris got stuck with the task he made some bitchin spoke cards, but the bar he wanted to go to was closed on sundays. So we had a pow wow and came up with going to the hideaway a piano bar. It however closed ten minnutes after we arrived i wasent on with the group on the secound part of the ride to morrieso's (i have no idea how to spell that) Due to Andy who made it in town an hour before the ride catching his front wheel in a groove on a bridge and scorpian grinding his face. we were trying to get him a ride but he felt better after a little while and we just rode to meet up with the group. the bar/pizza made us all happy and i found out i suck at elvis pinball.Photo credit goes to scott!

NEXT RIDE WILL BE AN UNDERWARE RIDE! ALSO WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE FISACO TO A SWIMING POOL SO IF ANYONE HAS A LINE ON ONE LET ME KNOW!!!!
