Full Moon Fiasco #44

The gibbus is waxing, its almost time for a Fiasco.

Full Moon Fiasco #44 hits the street Thursday, November 13th 2008. Meet at Turtle Park at 10:30 the ride leaves at 11pm sharp.

food drive/ride 3rd year Biking / Transit Bicycle works bike food drive nov STL/Metro
This is the 3rd year for Cranksgiving, last year we had 72 riders who stopped at five grocery stores picking up over 1200 items worth of non-perishable foods for local food pantries. This years ride includes two routes. One for those who need a shorter route (5-6 miles) and the longer route (22-25miles). On the 23rd of November we will be starting @ Bicycle works @ 4102 Shenandoah Ave. St. Louis, Missouri 63110 at Noon

This is what I figured you were reaching for:
gibbous [gib-bus]
Adjective
(of the moon) more than half but less than fully illuminated [Latin gibba hump]

But it stands to reason that Moon oriented folk such as yourself would have method in your madness.

Hi again, also forgot to ask, how long are the rides usually?, what type of bike would you recommend? I have fixed or a geared bike? thanks, and if you want you can all me at 314 596 7551, id like that as well. see yas!!

cycle crazy james - i would use your geared bike, the rides are usually about 70 miles.

Crazy, you asked a silly question and got a cruel response.
Just browse through the older posts of this blog to see what everybody rides on these things.
Ya, I’ve been on an eighty miler once but that was not a flagship fbc event, nor a super-fiasco. I would judge these rides more by time than anything else, meaning fiasco’s last at least until the bars close (and could easily continue until the sun rises)

rose wont be there. she's too poor to take off work this time. bummer but, what are you gonna do?
also, terry got hit by a car and had to get his jaw wired back together and rose has cort. so, work work work.

Thanks barney, I think I will stick with the fixie tonight, that is if I go, I may have other things to attend to, but hope to attend the festivites!!!
