Magic Is In The Air

Line up a date for Thursday May 27th. Take 'em out for a nice early bird special and join your Fucking Bike Club for Full Moon Fiasco #63: Another Magical Night.

That's right next Thursday is prom. But don't you worry about it, everything is already taken care of. Just make yourself look pretty and join The Best Club in World at Turtle Park on Oakland Ave at 7:30pm.

See you there!

There's a special night in the lives of all of us.

    A night to be beautiful...
    to be desireable.

A night where we can break all the rules and make our own.

    PROM NIGHT

  14. Sometimes it is smart to always have cash on you, especially if you want a drink!

Maybe Thursday night everyone should have some cash on them...just sayin'!

  15. What is the point or value of critical mass exactly?

    Seriously.

  16. To Trent and lee-
so appparently those faggots slashed my tire as well.
But the joke is on them. You see my tire was a $50 tire that is made of the souls of Christians and The blood of faggots. And with this miraculous tire that is to this day still inflated after a week of riding on it, I will be doing the entire FBC prom ride with said slashed tire still intact and fully functional. I will of course bring a spare just in case, bit I'm pretty sire i'm gonna FUCKING SHRED!!

  17. Joedeko, I would agree. What is the point?

    ReplyDelete
  18. The point of Critical Mass is to be bored on your bike.

  19. PROM TIP: It's OK to drink early.

  20. The point of critical mass is to ride your bike in a group of bikes in a very public way to show the people who see all of you that you can ride a bike in the city. You can get anywhere by bike, you can have fun on a bike. You can bike to your fancy office job or your dirty factory job. You can improve your health and your environment on a bike.

In some cities, it's very political. In some cities, it's a huge meet market for 20-somethings. In St Louis, it would be a distant 100th place to the amount of fun and positivity that a fiasco offers, even if it did result in a more bicycle friendly city full of dedicated lanes and bike racks.

Go on Friday and find out for yourself. If there's only a coupla people there, you'll have a huge impact on what critical mass means in this town.

  21. Please stay in 1 lane! Accidents can happen and it would be a shame to ruin it for everyone!

Don't give cyclists a bad name.
