Yeah, I was in the Shit

Joe Deko is proposing an expedition to St. Louis Mardi Gras this Saturday. I can say from experience that if you venture into the heart of darkness on the day of the Grand Parade, it will definitely be an adventure. The kind of adventure where you end up getting hit in the head with a baseball bat, like my friend Joe did two years ago, or getting in a fist fight with your girlfriend's dad, like my friend Tony did last year.

What a perfect FBC event.

If you are interested in riding down to Soulard on Saturday morning let Joe know by leaving a comment on this post.

I am going to be safely out of state this weekend so someone is going to have to take good notes on all the crazyness for me.

Good Luck, your gonna need it.

Its a new FBC record!

Fiasco 22: Groundhog day. Officially the coldest Fiasco in the FBC record books.

This time, we didn't spend anytime standing in a slush covered softball field like we've been known to do on our coldest rides, but we did make the first ever FBC group U-turn at Manchester and Kingshighway adding a much needed several miles to the route. The U-turn also set us up perfectly for a replenishing red wine and frosted doughnette stop at the old 7-11.

With the right amount of layers, a ski mask and a sufficient BAC no weather is too cold for The Fucking Bike Club. Give us all you got Old Man Winter. The colder the wind, the colder the beer.
